MODBOX graphics and design was formed and launched in 1992 by the founders of Continental Converting Corporation, an industrial paper and plastic converter based in Chicago Illinois. The world of manufacturing experienced a global wave of change so the owners re-tooled and heavy on print and design and moved the plant from the midwest to the Florida Tampa Bay area and the Coachella Valley located in California. We create high quality fine art greeting and note cards, primary being museum gallery retail store end users. A marriage of art, design and quality papers producing extremely well made cards that are unique and memorable.
Our greeting and note cards are found throughout the United States, Europe and Asia in fine art museum shops, and online through resellers via etsy, ebay, saatchi art, independent artists and can also be purchased in bulk here on our website. Modbox has partnered with fine artist Susan McAnany who plans on releasing new and past works in the “mailable medium”.
We cater primarly to institutions (museums) and gift shops but create many custom cards for individuals marketing their art or music. Modbox is one of the few fine art card manufacturers left within the United States, our team is proud to create a great product in the niche market we call “mailable art”.
MODBOX greeting cards are in house designed and printed; our multi-media cards are hand made and modified in our plant. Non of our offerings are mass produced, paper and envelope selection along with inks, printing and glue process are also part of the recipe to make a really nice card. From concept to completion Modbox creates a beautiful card.
